First Insurance Company Names Isaac Kosasa Vice President Of Claims

The First Insurance Company of Hawaii (FICOH) Board of Directors has elected Isaac Kosasa vice president of Claims. As head of this department, Kosasa oversees the company’s property, auto, liability, workers’ compensation and TPA (third party adjusting) units. He succeeds Ben Bondroff, who recently retired after 40 years with the company.

Kosasa has worked in FICOH’s claims department since 1989, starting as a senior adjuster. He was promoted to technical specialist in 1992, senior technical specialist in 1997, manager of litigation in 2005, and assistant vice president of litigation in 2010. Before he joined FICOH, Kosasa served in claims roles with American International Adjustment Company, Fireman’s Fund and Commercial Union Insurance.
