First Insurance Appoints Two New Officers

HONOLULU – First Insurance Company of Hawaii (FICOH) has promoted Lance Kishimoto and Joni Nham to Assistant Vice President effective October 1, 2023.

During his 15-year career with FICOH, Kishimoto has held positions of increasing seniority in the Commercial Underwriting department, most recently serving as manager. Kishimoto, a native of Aiea, earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa.

Nham started with FICOH in 2002 as a Work Comp senior technical specialist and served as manager prior to her promotion. She currently oversees FICOH’s Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury Protection and Claims Support units. Born and raised in Hilo, Nham earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Oregon.

In welcoming Kishimoto and Nham to the officer team, FICOH president and CEO Todd Takayama said, “Over the course of their careers with FICOH, Lance and Joni have been steadfast contributors and built strong working relationships both internally and with our industry partners. I am excited for their impact to continue to grow as members of our officer team.”
