HONOLULU– In the spirit of the holiday season, First Insurance Company of Hawaii (FICOH) and Central Body & Paint in Aiea gifted Kenneth and Royalnette Costa with a 2012 Hyundai Sonata. The Costa family was identified as a deserving client as part of Helping Hands Hawaii’s Adopt a Family Program.

Kenneth and his wife Royalnette, who are both disabled, have three children, ages 1-8. They were running into challenges getting their kids to school, doctor’s appointments, and completing errands because their car was recently stolen.

FICOH donated the salvaged car, Central Body & Paint donated their labor, and Windward Hyundai and Pacific Jobbers donated parts. This is the fourth consecutive year FICOH has collaborated with community partners to donate vehicles to needy families during the holiday season.

This was FICOH’s second donation this month of a vehicle, in collaboration with community partners, to a local family in the Helping Hands Hawaii program.
