HONOLULU – The First Insurance Charitable Foundation, the philanthropic arm of First Insurance Company of Hawaii (FICOH), strengthened its commitment to the local community in 2025, contributing more than $540,000 to nearly 80 nonprofit organizations statewide.
Responding to community needs, FICOH prioritized support family, social services, and healthcare in 2025, donating $272,000 to organizations such as Aloha United Way, Alzheimer’s Association, Institute for Human Services, Hawaii Community Foundation-Maui Strong, Navian Hawaii, American Heart Association, Kauai Independent Foodbank, Child and Family Services, Hawaii Meals on Wheels, and Helping Hands Hawaii.
Additional 2025 contributions included donations to Mālama Learning Center, The Nature Conservancy, The Outdoor Circle, University of Hawaii Foundation, After-School All-Stars Hawaii, Hawaii Public Radio, Ka Lima O Maui, Bishop Museum, and the Honolulu Museum of Art.
Deepening their community impact, FICOH associates logged more than 700 hours of volunteer service in 2025 as members of the First Insurance Community Action Team (First CAT).
